Jesse Slaughter - I had a dream - Les - Stan

Pure class, full backing, brilliant vocal, an all round winner, say no more.

Velvet Hammer - Happy - Soozi

Takes me way back to the Casino days, at last this has the big revival that it deserves. Storming soul.

Universal MInd - Reach out for me - Red Coach

70's soul at it's best, up tempo version of the Roy Hamilton classic, this one is a sure winner at any soul night.

Shirley Wahls - Because i love you - Vogue (French Calla)

Probably one of her rarest 45's, this one just oozes with soul. Listen to the sound clip, you'll know what I mean.

Ronnie Dyson - Fever - Taken from the above LP.

One that Chris Morgan put me on to, I heard him play this at the Rugby all-nighter and watched the floor come alive. I don't know if it came out on a 45, it would be interesting to find out.

Ohio Players - Love slipped through my fingers - Trip

Superb album from start to finsh, but this track does it for me, forget about buying one of those dodgy bootleg 45's of this, it was album only. Fantastic soulful track.

Erma Franklin - i don't want no mama's boy - Epic

Not a lot of R&B get me moving but this one does. I first heard this track at Bishops Wood all-nighter played by Larry Mc, then we went up to the Bridlington Weekender and I heard it played in the mod r&b room, it took the roof off. Now highly sought after.

El Anthony - We've been in love too long - La Cindy

What a record, absolutely superb every way. So soulful, just listen to the clip and then hunt one down for yourself.

Highly sought after 45 that's getting major plays.

Billy Keene - Wishing and Hoping - Vault

Great floor filling oldie that sounds as fresh today as the first time I heard it.

Incredibles - Miss Treatment - Audio Arts

Currently packing the floors, this is a monster of a tune, get one.

Dynamics - I need your love - RCA

The Dynamics are one of my all time favourite artists, every track of their's is brilliant and this one is probably the cream of the crop.

Little Rose Little - You've got the love - Roulette

Ripe for revival, a great 45, great backing, vocals and really nice flip side to this one.

Well worth getting one.
